Wow.  Has this blogring grown or what?  Haven't posted for a while.  Now I'm at the bottom of 3 pages of members!  But what brings me back is sad news...my car got keyed.
Of all the things that has happened to my car, getting keyed hurts the most.  You have to get so close and personal to someone else's property before you vandalize it in this manner.  And it definitely isn't an accident.  There's definite malicious intent in this.  Such evil and hatred that exists in this world!  Too bad I can't return evil with evil.  I almost feel like my hands are tied.  But on the on the other hand, I feel free cuz I know He is a just God.
to all the haters out there.

alright.  i've gotta join in on all this poetry action.  here goes:

Fixing teeth is what I do.
Thankless job I must say.
Without teeth they cannot chew.
Wonder why they still refuse to pay.

They say there's pain,
Even though I gave freezing.
No pain, no gain.
Ha ha, I'm just teasing.

Dentistry is a dirty occupation.
I get blood and spit in my face and hair.
"Brush and floss!" I tell my patients.
Nag all you want, but they don't care.

Never thought I'd write a poem,
While eating lunch at Champlain Mall.
If you can't beat'em, you gotta join'em.
Hope this effort impresses you all.

what really tests your patience?

i ask because i was filling up on cheap gas today...or rather i was WAITING to fill up on cheap gas.  why is it that some people refuse to pay at the pump?  why do people insist on topping up their motor oil or cleaning their windows while half the city is lined up behind them?  can't they do these things at home?  why? why? why?  ok, i was exaggerating about half the city lining up for cheap gas.  but people really do these things.  normally i'm a very patient person...i've been told by many patients.  but somehow these things just get to me.  so what tests your patience?

ok.  driving home after vball last night, there was a crowd of teenagers beside Killarney high school on 49th and Kerr.  as i drove past, they fired a firecracker at my car.  heard a loud thump, so it definitely it my car.  looked in the rearview mirror and saw that they did this to every car behind me as well.  got home and did a quick inspection of my passenger side.  no major damage.  will have to check again when it's brighter outside.  at first i didn't care about the whole debate about banning sales of firecrackers.  now i'm totally for it.

checked my passenger side today.  apparently the firecracker hit my car on the front passenger window.  it has a streak of gun powder on it.  good news is that the paint is ok.  but if it had gone through the window, it would've hit me.
